Welcome to Volume 3, Issue 1 of JWEMPO: Advancing Water Resources Research, Innovation and Policy for Sustainable Development
We are pleased to present Volume 3, Issue 1 of the Journal of Water Resources, Engineering, Management and Policy, published in June 2026. This issue brings together eight studies reflecting the breadth of the water sector in Tanzania, covering water economics and equitable access, project delivery and clean energy transitions, irrigation water quality, and pressing environmental and sanitation challenges, from faecal sludge management to microplastic pollution. Together, they provide empirical, index-based, and policy-relevant insights for researchers, practitioners, and decision-makers alike.
