Welcome to Volume 3, Issue 1 of JWEMPO, expected to be published in 2026.
Over recent publication cycles, JWEMPO has continued to expand in quality and diversity of research, including contributions in Water Resources (14 papers), Management in the Water Sector (5), and Sustainability of Water and Sanitation Projects (3). These achievements demonstrate strong engagement within the water-sector research community and a growing recognition of our journal as a trusted academic platform.
At the same time, our content analysis reveals promising areas where new research is urgently needed and greatly welcomed. Fields such as Sanitation and Hygiene, Institutional Development in the Water Sector, and ICT in Water Management currently have no submissions, presenting an excellent opportunity for authors to produce influential pioneering work in these domains.
There is also meaningful space for impactful contributions in:
- Engineering issues in the water sector
- Technical and managerial challenges
- Research and innovations
- Irrigation
- Water-sector financing and economic analysis
- National, regional, and international policy studies
JWEMPO invites authors to help enrich these areas with original research, case studies, scientific analyses, and applied knowledge. Your contribution may become a significant reference point for both practitioners and policymakers.
